I'm not impressed nor dissatisfied by the mechanics, as I'm not a competitive player I can't really evaluate that aspects. By no means the core gameplay is boring, it's very good in fact with but lacks some of the satisfying sensation of the earlier entries, somehow I feel not as good when my hits connect.
It must have been more than 10 years since I had this amount of fun with a fighting game, and all because of the masterpiece level character creation tool. It must have By no means I'm an expert to fighting games but I usually finish all the story modes and play casually in the couch with friends.
